WHY THESE FINS MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Conventional fins assume both sides of your surfing are the same. They are not. On the toe side, a regular footer looks for openness, flow, and speed out of the turn. On the heel side, they need traction, grip, and control on the rail. The Asym Regular Foot translate that difference into actual geometry: three fins with different measurements, rake, and foil depending on their position, mounted in the mirrored configuration of the goofy version.

USAGE AND CARE

• Installation — All three fins have specific positions: the two largest go on the toe side (toe side for regular = left side of the board looking from the tail), the smallest one goes in the rear heel side position. Always check that each fin is in its correct box before tightening.
• Regular orientation — For a regular surfer, the toe side is the left side of the board looking from the tail. If in doubt, compare the measurements of each fin with the technical table before mounting. Do not interchange fins with the Goofy set — the foil positions are mirrored.
• Cleaning — Rinse with fresh water after each session. Dry them before storing to prevent oxidation in the boxes.
• Storage — Store the complete set together and labeled. Because of the asymmetry, it is essential not to mix them with other fins of the same apparent size.
• Inspection — Regularly inspect the fiberglass laminate. In the event of any crack or chip, remove the affected fin from use.
