With a 300 cm diameter, this umbrella requires a solid anchor in the sand — it’s not a pocket umbrella that holds itself up. Before opening it, dig the pole in well by rotating it in a spiral until it is firm. If it is windy, orient the opening of the umbrella against the wind to reduce resistance. And if the day gets very windy, fold it without hesitation — no umbrella, no matter how large, is designed to withstand strong gusts while open. The shade can wait; the umbrella cannot.

USE AND CARE

• Installation — Dig the pole into the sand using a spiral motion until it is completely firm. Open the umbrella only when the pole is well anchored.
• Wind — If there is a strong breeze, orient the umbrella so the wind hits the closed side, not from under the canopy. In intense wind, it is better to fold the umbrella to prevent it from blowing away.
• Cleaning — Shake off the sand before folding. Let it dry completely before storing to prevent the fabric from developing moisture or mold.
• Storage — Store in a dry place protected from direct sun when not in use for long periods. Extreme heat can affect the fabric over time.
• Maintenance — Periodically check the pole joints and ribs. If you detect oxidation on the steel structure, dry it well after each beach session.
