WHY THIS FIN SET MAKES A DIFFERENCE

Rake measures how much the fin tip extends backward relative to its base. The greater the rake, the more drive the fin generates and the wider and more prolonged the turns become. The KSR takes this concept to the opposite extreme of the KS1: while the KS1 pivots with precision, the KSR maintains hold in wide arcs on the shoulder of the wave and offers reliable hold when surfing long along the face.
