Its high-loft double-weave fabric is warm and soft against the skin, yet it doesn't trap body heat like a conventional fleece, so you can wear it while moving without getting stifled. The DWR (durable water repellent) finish sheds water and light snow, and its outer face resists abrasion from harnesses, backpacks, and rubbing against rock.
