SCIENCE WARRANTY — "THE MOST EXPERIENCED WAVE RIDER ON THE PLANET"

Mike Stewart was born in Hawaii in 1963 and has been in the water since modern bodyboarding was beginning to take shape. He won nine world titles between 1983 and 1995, has won the Pipeline event a record eleven times, and is the only non-standing rider to have received the title of Mister Pipeline. In 1987, together with Ben Severson, he was the first to surf Teahupo'o, long before the Tahitian wave became a destination on the world circuit. Since 1998, Stewart has designed and manufactured his own boards under the Science Bodyboards brand, applying more than three decades of knowledge in reading waves to the design of each model.

The Mike 7-7 is also a tribute to the inventor of modern bodyboarding: a portion of the proceeds from each board sold goes to the family of Tom Morey, the man who in 1971 gave shape to the first boogie board and opened the doors of the ocean to millions of riders around the world. USAGE AND CARE

• Before entering: check that the wrist leash is securely fastened. Apply wax to the deck if conditions require it to improve grip.
• In the water: the Crescent tail and Slotted channels work best with the body centered on the board. In the tube, flatten your position to gain exit speed.
• After the session: rinse with fresh water, especially channels and rails, to remove salt. Air dry in the shade, never in direct, prolonged sunlight.
• Storage: keep the board in a cover or a place protected from heat. The PP core is 100% waterproof, but extreme heat can deform the deck.
• Transport: do not fold or force pressure on the board — the stringer may suffer permanent damage.
